We had an excellent turnout for the Easter Regatta. Thirty three boats on the line for the full rig and another 19 in radial. Winds held up and the rain stayed away. Despite a late start, all 8 races were completed. Typical lake sailing with shifty and puffy winds. Good combination of young and old, experienced and beginner sailors. A family affair with fathers, sons, and siblings racing together. The district is purposefully trying to schedule more opportunities for adults and kids to race together.<\/p>\n

The regatta was also the host of the Area F Qualifier for the US Junior Championship Singlehanded Smythe Trophy. \u00a0Reese Guerriero and Parker Hughes will go to the finals in Traverse City, MI and represent Area F.<\/p>\n
